The AIGP Pathway Fellowship is a selective cohort program designed for professionals preparing for the AI Governance Professional (AIGP) certification exam who are ready to invest in their growth and join a global community of ethical AI leaders.

How much does the AIGP Pathway Fellowship cost?
Thanks to the generosity of our program partners, the AIGP Pathway Fellowship operates on an honor-based model grounded in trust, inclusion, and shared responsibility — values synonymous with responsible AI.
Each selected Fellow contributes a minimum of $100 Fellowship Commitment Fee to confirm their participation. This contribution represents a shared investment in your professional growth and helps sustain the Fellowship for future participants.

The total program value, which includes access to the AIGP Exam Prep Course, AIGP Exam Live Study Group, and AIGP Mastermind Community is $800. Fellows may request partial or full sponsorship, depending on financial circumstances.

This cohort is great if you plan to take the IAPP AIGP exam between June 2026 - September 2026.
Please note the IAPP BOK and exam was updated from 2 February 2026, and this cohort will study towards the new exam content.

How to apply
Submit a short application sharing your goals, background, and interest in AI governance. Selected Fellows will be notified and invited to confirm their spot and commitment. Fellows are accepted into the program on a rolling basis until the program meets its capacity.

Organizations and alumni are invited to sponsor Fellowship seats or serve as guest mentors during live sessions. The Fellowship is designed for professionals preparing to earn the AI Governance Professional (AIGP) certification who want structured guidance, community support, and live sessions with certified experts. Fellows come from diverse backgrounds including risk, compliance, policy, and technology. All sharing a commitment to responsible AI.
No. You can apply even if you haven’t yet scheduled your exam. Many Fellows join while still deciding when to take it — the program helps you prepare confidently.
Each fellow participates for 12 weeks, combining self-paced lessons with weekly live discussions. Fellows who complete the program and later pass the AIGP exam receive a 1-year complimentary membership in the AIGP Mastermind community.
Each cohort is limited to 15 participants to ensure a personalized, high-quality experience. Early application is encouraged as seats fill quickly.
Each selected Fellow contributes a $100 Fellowship Commitment Fee to confirm participation.
The full program value (AIGP On-Demand Course + Live Study Group + Mastermind) is $800.
Fellows may contribute more or request partial sponsorship based on need. Our goal is to help ensure no qualified candidate is excluded for financial reasons.
Financial support is offered based on availability and need. You’ll have the option to indicate your sponsorship request within the application. All requests are reviewed confidentially.
We believe learning doesn’t end with one attempt. If you don’t pass the exam on your first try, you’ll still retain access to the on-demand course materials for continued study and can rejoin selected live review sessions in a future cohort. You’ll also stay connected to the Fellowship community for ongoing support.
Once you complete the Fellowship — and successfully pass the AIGP exam — you’ll receive a one-year membership in the AIGP Mastermind, a peer community for certified professionals focused on applying AI governance principles in practice.
